Can we just show up or do we need to make reservations?
You can just show up, however we encourage making reservations ahead of time to ensure you get to play when and which room you want. You can make reservations online up to 1 hour before any reservation time. Please call/text us at 385-200-1360 if you are in the area and we will see what we can do to accommodate you! If you decide to come without a reservation, we can not guarantee a room will be available for your group.

Can we pay when we get there?
You must pay in full to make a reservation. If we have availability, guests that arrive without a reservation (walk-ins) can make a booking with us and pay when they arrive, however we cannot guarantee availability to walk-ins. This is why we highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

How long Do we have to escape each ROOM/Game?
You have 60 minutes to escape. Each group should arrive 15-20 minutes prior for room prep and with another 10 minutes after for a souvenir photo, a total of about 90 minutes is the usual time spent at Escape on 13th.

What makes Escape on 13th different?
Simply, we specialize in immersive entertainment: special effects, magic/tech puzzles, lights, sounds, unique cohesive story and game-play, antique props, 360 theming, the works! Like other top escape room experiences in the nation, getting immersed into your role in the story of each of our rooms helps you escape, rather than limits your ability to escape; all game-play makes sense and is in context. With that said, you can't get the experiences we offer anywhere else. Our customer reviews have included, "It's like starring in a movie!" Ultimately, you won't know the Escape on 13th magic until you come and experience it yourself!

How many people can play In One GAME TIME?
Up to ten (10) people can play in a single room at the same time. Check the team size for each game to determine the recommended maximum. If you have 1 or 2 over the recommended maximum, please text/call and we can discuss with you how to best accommodate your group. We offer a large group discount over the phone for groups of larger than 10. We also have great large group packages and birthday packages for special occasions you may consider.

Do you accept groups of less than four?
We recommend having at least four to play your room with you because our rooms were designed to be best experienced with groups of at least four. We do accept groups of two to three (a different small group pricing may apply) for certain rooms. All of our rooms can be solved with two people, though it is extremely difficult in 60 minutes; if you would like to play as a group of two in a room with 4 as the minimum, please book 4 tickets.

Will we be playing with strangers?
No. Only one booking is allowed per room and time. Book the number of people that will be participating together in one booking. This will block out all available slots.

Do you have normal business hours?
Yes, check our website footer at the bottom of every page. If you have questions about special events or times call/text 385-200-1360 or contact us here on the website and we will be happy to work with you!
Will we really be locked in a room?
The door you enter from is both an entrance and an emergency exit and is never locked.
How old do you have to be?
The recommended minimum age to play is eight (8) years old, with few exceptions. Anyone entering the room with you must purchase a ticket. If ANYONE in your group is between the ages of 8 and 15 years old, an adult (18+) responsible for the minor(s) MUST BE PRESENT AT THE FACILITY during play and to sign their waivers.
What if we need to change our booking?
We understand life happens. If you can't make it to your reservation time or need to make changes to it, please call/text us and use the Contact Us page of our website if we do not answer to ensure we have record of your request. Although we do not offer refunds, if notice is given greater than three (3) days ahead of your booking time, we can reschedule your booking for a time that works for you at no additional cost. Within three (3) days of your booking time, you can still reschedule for a postponement fee. We do not offer any refunds.
I missed my reservation, what do I do?
No refunds for no shows.
What about companies and youth groups?
The escape rooms are perfect for large groups: corporate team building, youth group socials, and family gatherings! The entire focus of the experience is communication and teamwork. Check out our packages for larger groups here!
Can I book an entire room?
Private rooms are complimentary and automatic. By making any reservation you are booking an entire room.
Is it scary?
Scary just isn't the right word to describe our rooms. We do have rooms we define as thrillers, which do include an intended jump scare, but the premise of escape rooms (being doomed in some way unless you escape) is inherently intense. If you have a particular concern, feel free to reach out to us via text or call. Our rooms are enjoyable and exciting for nearly all people ages 8+.

I have a health condition, is it safe for me to play?
It really depends... some health conditions may pose considerable safety risks. If you have a pace-maker, severe heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, are pregnant, or have a physical disability which makes standing or bending difficult, for your safety, we may politely ask you not to participate. All rooms can be played with reasonable accommodations for those with physical disabilities including wheelchairs. If you would like to have any non-standard accommodations, let a staff member know when you arrive at the facility. What should I wear?
We recommend you wear comfortable, nonrestrictive clothing.
Where do we park?
Please park in front of Escape on 13th in our parking lot.
What happens if I'm late?
Arrive early (10-20) minutes before your reservation The experience begins at exactly the time prescribed. If you have booked the whole game you may choose to play but the amount of time that you are late will be subtracted from your 60 minutes of game play. We will do our best to give you as much time as we can without detracting from the experience of other customers.

What happens to my information?
We do not store your information. We use a third party ticketing company and waiver company which deal with all personal information whether that be: name, email address, phone number, card information, or billing address. In no case is your information shared or sold by Escape on 13th or these companies.
